The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Returns to Prague for Nine Days this Fall
While it was expected for a very long time, it’s now almost confirmed that we won’t be seeing The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on Disney+ next month, as the series will finish its filming in the Czech Republic this fall.
The Hollywood Reporter has a story about how the EU travel restrictions barring travel from the US won’t affect Hollywood productions due to exceptions, and they say that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will return to the Czech Republic for a nine-day shoot later in the fall.
Previously they were filming in Prague before the Coronavirus Pandemic shut down production. Sebastian Stan believed they had two or three weeks of filming left, while Anthony Mackie said there was very little left to do. Prior to returning to Prague it sounds like there may be some filming done state-side, much like how WandaVision is slated to do reshoots and pickups this month.
