Marvel’s Black Widow Solo Film May Arrive in 2020
This comes from one the same sources who dropped The Eternals news on me, and it’s not as big as that, but if true we may have an idea when the Black Widow solo film will hit.
According to my source, the solo outing for Natasha is tentatively set as one of the MCU movies releasing in 2020. Marvel has set three movies for that year, and these are the dates:
- May 1, 2020
- July 21, 2020
- Nov. 6, 2020
We already know that Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is probably arriving in 2020. With that being one of Marvel’s big franchises now and with it possibly helping to launch the new cosmic side of the MCU, I wouldn’t be shocked if Marvel puts it in their May slot.
That would leave July or November for Black Widow, and that’s really a movie summer crowds would flock to. So that could land in July, leaving November for something like a Doctor Strange sequel. Also, releasing Black Widow in summer of 2020 would allow it to be one of the movies that Marvel could reveal by San Diego Comic Con next year; especially as we know it’s coming (the writer is working on it) and that wouldn’t be a huge spoiler for Infinity War by saying when it’s coming out.
