There have been a lot of hints that this was coming, but now it appears to be official. The one MCU movie that was in production when filming was halted due to the Coronavirus Pandemic will be resuming production this month.
Deadline has confirmed that Shang-Chi: And the Legend of the Ten Rings will resume production in Australia at the end of the month. They say the film is in prep now to resume and that Marvel is taking careful steps to resume filming.
When we’ll see the first footage is unknown, but on Instagram a few months ago Simu Liu indicated that they put together something very cool for San Diego Comic Con if it didn’t end up being cancelled.
