DC fans who jumped on HBO Max in anticipation for Zack Snyder’s Justice League were pretty pissed off to discover that the vast majority of the live-action DC films would be leaving the service on July 1st. Now HBO Max has extended most of those until December.
Instead of leaving the service on July 1st, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, Wonder Woman, and Suicide Squad will remain viewable on the service until December. Superman: The Movie, Superman II, Superman III, Superman IV, and Watchmen will join them.
The bad news is that Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Catwoman, Jonah Hex and The Losers will still be leaving on July 1st.
HBO Max still intends to rotate the movies on a monthly basis, so those Batman movies will likely return.
