The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Had ‘Two or Three’ Weeks of Filming Left Before the Shutdown

Following the shutdown of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier production due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, it was widely reported that they were on the last week of filming and it was almost done. A new interview with Sebastian Stan has sort of debunked that, and it sounds like they had a lot more filming to do.

The Hollywood Reporter asked him about the reporting that they were in the last week, and he said:

“No, we were probably at least two or three, but don’t quote me on that.”

So with that amount of filming to do, and with filming not likely to restart until later until the late summer or even into the fall, it’s more and more likely that the show may be delayed from its August release. Most likely it’ll take the WandaVision date in December so it could premiere after the release of Black Widow.
