Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Now Available Digitally

Knowing that a lot of people will be staying home over the coronavirus pandemic, Disney has made some changes to their upcoming home video releases. In addition to releasing Frozen 2 on Disney+ months early, you can now buy Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker digitally a few days before its original March 17th release.

I’ve confirmed myself that the 4K version is available on multiple services, and as it’s a Movies Anywhere title it does propagate to any of the services that have it available. It’s available on iTunes, Movies Anywhere, Vudu, etc.

As you know there are no deleted scenes, but there is a two-hour documentary titled “The Skywalker Legacy” on the places that has digital extras such as iTunes.

It’s a nice surprise to get to watch The Rise of Skywalker in 4K a little early!
