Spider-Man 3 Production Reportedly Put on Hold Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic

Despite some Marvel Studios films continuing pre-production and post-production during the coronavirus pandemic, another MCU movie may have been affected by it and had to put its pre-production on hold.

The third Spider-Man movie was supposed to begin filming this summer, but a new report from Sight & Sound Magazine says it’s now on hold:

Blockbuster productions on pause include The Batman, an as-yet-untitled Spider-Man sequel and Disney’s live-action The Little Mermaid remake.

As Spider-Man 3 was supposed to begin filming in July, this could mean that the June filming for Doctor Strange probably also won’t be taking place if this pandemic continues into the summer.
