Today Disney held their annual meeting of shareholders, and while they did show off the first clip from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and confirmed Loki will arrive early next year; the presentation didn’t feature anything about November’s Eternals.
According to some who were there, the shareholders were treated to an early screening of the new live-action Mulan following the presentation; and before the movie screened they were shown a sizzle reel of the studio’s past and future releases. Following some clips of the recent hits, the sizzle reel featured brief glimpses of Murder on the Nile, West Side Story (which they saw a clip of earlier), Pixar’s Soul, Black Widow (no new footage), and about five to ten seconds of Eternals.
As it was part of a sizzle reel, it wasn’t really a clip. Just brief glimpses of the heroes all in their costumes on what was described as an ancient looking set. It’s possible the sizzle reel was using footage from the CCXP clip shown in December, or it could be a brief glimpse of shots that will be included in the upcoming trailer for the movie.
