Mark Ruffalo Did Not Pitch Hulk vs. Wolverine to Kevin Feige

This article has been updated to add a video from Tokyo Comic Con including Mark Ruffalo’s actual comments about Hulk and his meeting with Feige.

The Hulk was one of the Avengers to survive the events of Endgame, and Kevin Feige has recently said that the chess pieces following that movie were intentionally setup that way. That means they have plans for the people who are still around following The Infinity Saga.

We know Mark Ruffalo is going to talk with Kevin Feige about a role in She Hulk, but he recently pitched more ideas according to an appearing at Tokyo Comic Con:

“Kevin Feige just asked me last week if I had any more ideas or stories for the Hulk. And I said yeah, I think there’s still some stories to tell. And he said, ‘Well why don’t you come in and tell me about them and we’ll see if we can find a place for you in the Marvel universe?’”

Note that despite the clickbait headlines, Hulk vs. Wolverine wasn’t one that he pitched. It was a second question someone asked at the convention, asking about Hulk vs. Wolverine, and he said he’d like to see that.

Still, it’s good to see that Marvel Studios wants to do more with The Hulk; even though a solo movie is unlikely to happen again.
