The James Gunn drama may have come to a final decision on Disney’s part, but Dave Bautista is still being vocal about the situation and now there’s a new interview with him that casts doubts on us seeing Drax in the third movie.
Dave Bautista was on the Jonathan Ross show, and Ross asked him about not appearing in the third movie. This was his response to the question:
“There’s a bit of an issue. It’s a bitter-sweet conversation. Um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn. They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”
That’s one of the most direct responses he’s given to that question. In the past he said he’d do what he was obligated to do, and then said he’d only do it if they kept Gunn’s script. From all of the reports, they are using his script, but now it sounds like Bautista wants out anyways.
